View All TrainingsIn this 4-Day Intensive, we will dive into the world of anxiety and related disorders. For many decades, the common narrative around anxiety has been targeted towards decreasing, removing, or ridding oneself of anxiety
Through group discussions, interactive exercises, and moments of reflection, we will unravel the complexities of anxiety, help you develop a different and more flexible perception of anxiety and, in turn, strengthen your therapeutic abilities to help clients do the same. We will delve into Generalized Anxiety Disorder, Social Anxiety Disorder, Panic Disorder, and Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD), examining their unique features and complexities.
Various assessment tools and evidence-based treatment methods will be introduced
We will explore Exposure Therapy and it’s use for OCD and several Anxiety Disorders, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, including theory and case conceptualization using the matrix, and enhancing your work with Mindfulness and Self-Compassion. You will deepen your understanding of anxiety disorders, refine your assessment techniques, and cultivate effective therapeutic interventions to support your clients on their journey to healing.
