About William Bumberry, PhD
William Bumberry, PhD, is a licensed clinical psychologist with more than 25 years of experience working with couples. He has been with the Gottman Institute for more than a decade and is a Senior Certified Gottman Couples Therapist. In addition to being an active member of TGI’s Speaker Bureau, Dr. Bumberry serves as a consultant to clinicians seeking certification and is a Video Reviewer for the final step of the certification process. He is certified to present all three levels of the Gottman Method training sequence, as well as the Art & Science of Love workshop. Dr. Bumberry is a member of the American Psychological Association.
Since becoming a certified trainer for the Gottman Institute, Dr. Bumberry has presented Gottman professional trainings throughout the U.S. and abroad. He has been featured in numerous workshops and conferences, including the Psychotherapy Networker and AAMFT Annual Conferences. He is an experienced, clear, energetic speaker with the ability to present complicated material in a practical, easy-to-use manner. The training will be held in the Convention Center near the entrance to the resort complex.
Paraiso Waves Beach, Paraiso Lindo and Paraiso Waves Del Mar are the closest resorts, with a walk of 2-4 minutes. Paraiso Suites and JOIA Paraiso are slightly further with walk times of 6 and 11 minutes, respectively. Golf carts are available across the complex for those who do not wish to walk.

Uber and other rideshares are prohibited from entering the Cancun Airport. You can easily get a taxi using the airport’s authorized taxi service or preschedule a shared or private shuttle and there is an abundance of options online. For your return trip, the hotel can call a taxi for you, or you can preschedule a shuttle.

- Attendees are required to book their accommodations directly through the Iberostar website using the promo code provided by EBTS. Reservations made through third-party vendors, such as travel agencies, cannot be included in our group.
- Attendees are required to stay on site at the Iberostar complex for this training. It is strongly recommended that you book your accommodation prior to registering for this training to ensure the complex/your preferred room is not sold out.
- Due to frequent flight cancellations and delays, we strongly recommend flying out on or before the Tuesday before the training. No refunds, transfers, or continuing education credit will be given for any portion missed due to flight disruptions.
- Due to unforeseen circumstances, EBTS holds the right to change trainers to someone of equal expertise in the subject.
- Cancellations must be submitted in writing to info@ebtrainingsolutions.com no later than 30 calendar days before the first day of the event. A full refund minus a 6% processing fee will be issued. Past this date, no refunds will be provided.
